Operation BMH0425

23-27 April, 2025

Leaving from LVBC

KotK is sending a team to do miscellaneous work projects at Black Mountain Home in Black Mountain, NC. This Christian orphanage was damaged in Hurricane Helene and these projects will help get them back up to full operating capacity.

Our team will leave Wednesday morning, April 23 from LVBC and return Sunday afternoon April 27 to LVBC. All expenses for volunteers will be paid/reimbursed. If interested please click on the button below to fill out a form and further information will be given.

Additionally, we are collecting supplies for BMH’s First Night Placement Bags - these bags contain items with essential supplies for children being placed in their care when they first arrive. BMH serves children from ages 0-13 years (most common ages 2-8 years). Please consider gathering and donating the following NEW supplies for our team to deliver:

  • Toothbrush

  • Toothpaste

  • Shampoo

  • Body wash

  • Hair brush

  • Underwear

  • Socks

  • Pajama set

  • Bible

  • Stuffed animal

Please fill out the contact form (button above) if you are interested in contributing these items before we leave. THANK YOU!
